š PD on Your Terms + Exciting News!
Hey Friend,
I've got a confession to make...
I used to dread professional development days. You know the ones - sitting in uncomfortable chairs, watching generic PowerPoints that had absolutely nothing to do with health education.
After years of disappointing PD, I finally asked myself: What if I created the exact workshops I wished existed when I was in the classroom?
So that's exactly what I did! And now I'm making them available to you on a pay-what-you-can basis because I believe every health teacher deserves quality resources (regardless of their school's budget or their personal finances).

On-Demand Workshops Ready When You Are
- How to Teach Sex Ed - Led by an AASECT-certified sexuality educator (me š), this workshop goes beyond the basics to explore a holistic definition of sexual health that considers the whole person, not just the physical aspects.
You'll discover:
- Three key concepts every health teacher should understand before teaching sex ed
- A practical, replicable framework for designing sex ed programs relevant to students' real lives
- Foundational principles for delivering comprehensive, medically accurate, and inclusive sex education
- The Secret to Effective ATOD Education - Let's ditch those refusal skills no student will actually use! In this workshop, we'll dive into a fresh, skills-based approach to teaching Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drugs. You'll learn how to create lessons that genuinely equip students with the knowledge, confidence, and skills to make real, intentional decisions about drugs.
You'll walk away knowing how to:
- Assess the effectiveness of your current ATOD teaching practices
- Implement a skills-based approach to ATOD education
- Make small but impactful changes to transform your lessons
- Embracing Body Neutrality Workshop - Body neutrality isn't just another buzzword - it's a transformative philosophy that sees students as whole beings, focusing on their inner qualities rather than appearance. This approach has completely reshaped how I teach health education, creating environments where joy in movement and authentic self-esteem take center stage.
In this workshop, you'll learn:
- The essential foundation that enables health and physical literacy to thrive
- Core principles of body neutrality and why they matter in today's classroom
- Four specific teaching practices designed to boost the relationship students have with their bodies
Our Pay-What-You-Can Model

- Tier 2: Standard Level - $25 to $49 Perfect for those who want to support but may not be able to afford the maximum amount.
- Tier 3: Community Level - $0 to $24 Designed for anyone who wants/needs free access! Yes, really - $0 is absolutely fine!

I'm so excited about what's launching soon:

Health teachers are doing the most important work in schools today. You're shaping how students will care for themselves and others for a lifetime.
