Hey Friend,

I am literally bouncing in my chair with excitement as I type this email to you. Why? Because our brand new signature skill cues videos are FINALLY ready for you to use in your classroom! 🎉

If you're like me, you probably spend HOURS trying to explain complex health skills to your students in ways they'll actually understand and remember. And while I love creating curriculum (you know that's my happy place!), I know most of you would rather connect with your students than spend another weekend planning.

That's exactly why I have been working my tail off to create these videos for you:

  • Building & Applying Functional Knowledge - Because knowing the essential stuff matters
  • Analyzing Influences - Help students identify what's impacting their choices
  • Accessing Resources - From finding valid information to utilizing health services
  • Interpersonal Communication - All the good stuff: boundaries, conflict resolution, refusal skills, and collaboration
  • Decision Making - Because let's be real, this is where the rubber meets the road
  • Goal Setting - Teaching students how to actually achieve what matters to them
  • Self-Management - Those day-to-day practices that build healthy lives
  • Advocacy - Standing up for themselves AND others

Now, I know what you're thinking: "Janelle, students aren't going to stop in their everyday lives and recite these skill cues."

And you're 100% right! But that's not the goal.

The real goal here? Nurturing that self-awareness as students build the confidence, knowledge, and skills they need to actually take care of themselves! We want these skills to become second nature - not just something they memorize for your class.

Buying pre-made resources isn't cheating - it's an investment in your well-being (and your students'). These videos mean:

âś… Fewer hours spent planning

âś… More energy to connect with students

âś… A renewed love for teaching

And heads up - we're only ONE MONTH away from launching our completely revamped website! It's going to be AMAZING.

Hit reply and tell me: What health topic is an absolute MUST for our upcoming teacher guides? I'm all ears!

Take care and talk soon,

Janelle
